Portrait of a Graduate 

In 2014, FCPS adopted the Portrait of a Graduate to answer this question: What are the skills necessary for success for all children in this rapidly changing, increasingly diverse, and interconnected world? Portrait of a Graduate moves FCPS students and staff members to look beyond the high-stakes testing environment and to help our students develop skills so they can be successful in the workforce of the future.

Supporting Transitions for Military Families

To help make your transition easier, Department of Defense (DOD) employees from each branch of service provide a School Liaison Officer or a point of contact. School Liaison Officers are the primary point of contact for school-related matters and assist military families with school issues.

CHECKS

Fairfax County Public Schools gladly accept checks for payment of various school related purchases and fees. In the event a check is not honored by the bank, the bank will submit the check directly to Checkredi Payment Services for collection. Your account will be debited electronically for the face value amount and charged a fee of $30 per check. If funds are not available, a Checkredi Payment Services representative may contact you to arrange payment.
