Our Standards of Learning (SOL) tests are approaching for grades 3-6. These assessments measure the extent to which students have learned the content and skills reflected in state standards. The content tested varies by grade level. Click here to see the schedule of testing dates.

Throughout FCPS, we are recognizing the important role military children play in the armed forces community. Remember to Purple Up! on Wednesday, April 17--wear purple to celebrate military-connected youth. Read more, view slideshow, and watch videos.

FCPS is exploring options for adjusting middle school start times and invites the public to be part of the process. Prismatic Services, Inc., an educational consulting firm, will lead the forums.

Register now for FCPS summer camps, including Tech Adventure Camp for current grade K-5 students, Elementary Institute for the Arts (EIFTA) for current grade 2-5 students, Institute for the Arts (IFTA) for current grade 6-11 students, and Career and Technical Education (CTE) Summer Academy for current grade 6-11 students.

Students have unlimited access to online tutoring support services through Tutor.com at no cost to families. Students can connect online any time, any place, and in most K-12 subjects for however long they need. Tutoring may be on-demand or scheduled at a time convenient for the student and/or family.
